Is the American Flag Alive?{

The Federal Governent Believes the US Flag is Alive... Do You? The next time you drive by that dealership with the fifty foot flag pole, look up and be sure to see, the elegant maneuvers of the flag. Some days she looks like a feather blown about with every wind of doctrine. Some days she looks as though she is shadow boxing, ducking and dodging, throwing out aggressive jabs and uppercuts, popping and kicking with every burst of wind. Millions salute her, vow loyalty to her; millions lay to rest below her, as their treasured ones cry over her. So, ask yourself what is so exceptional concerning this dyed nylon rectangle with a gathering of figurative stars and stripes sewn on it? What is the flag’s purpose? What precisely does it stand for? Well, the simple answer is, “to each his own”. For me, SHE represents my right to raise my children in the admonition of the Lord without controversy. For me, she gives me the right to pursue happiness and the freedom to take pleasure in it once I grasp it. For me, she symbolizes a rock- solid foundation in which my family can assemble a life that’s more than abundant. For me, the flag’s function is to build unity in the bond of peace. She also functions as a warning to others who wish for to take that peace. For me, the flag represents the finer things of life… Football, Twinkies (with extra yellow #5) and Harley Davidson. As I said previous, “too each his own” my life is a little more rapid paced then that chap who wrote that patriotic song …baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet.
The national government already gave us our answer to my original question; Title 4 Section 8(j)… The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing. Therefore, the lapel flag pin being a replica, should be worn on the left lapel near the heart.

Is the US Flag living? Well, for this passionate Patriot… For me, the answer is a definitive YES!
